It’s hard to be happy, especially at a time when everyone is expected to be so, when everything around you is so messed up and loud and out of control. It’s been like this as long as I can remember. I’ve gone beyond the line of tolerant at this point.
Can I go to San Francisco with my boyfriend now? And back to LA now? 6 hours away from all of this nonsense.

A Few Strange Christmases
Tradition is the best. Having that annual reminder, or that constant thing that you love to do that no one else does, it’s a warm, fuzzy feeling. At my parents house we have the normal traditions.
